Groundwork's experience of working to tackle climate change will form part of two crucial events on the subject in May 2007.
On 23 May the Groundwork sponsored Local Government Chronicle's Tackling climate change in your authority' event will look at the need and opportunity for local government to take a leadership role on climate change. It will also demonstrate the financial, political and environmental benefits to be gained by local authorities in parallel to fulfilling their statutory duties.

Groundwork will also be supporting the Corporate Climate Response 2007 Market driven solutions to climate change' conference on 29 - 31 May at the CBI Conference Centre, London. Groundwork will also form part of an expert panel at the event looking at the challenges of climate change for small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) and the approach that SMEs can take.
